By accessing or using CalcGrid ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

CalcGrid provides financial calculators and planning tools for educational and informational purposes. The Service is available in free and premium tiers with different features and limitations.

3. Not Financial Advice

Important: The calculators, content, and results provided by CalcGrid are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You should always consult with qualified professionals before making any financial decisions. CalcGrid is not a registered investment advisor, broker, or financial planner.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate calculations, we cannot guarantee that all results are error-free or that the calculations reflect your specific financial situation. Results are based on the inputs you provide and standard financial formulas. Tax rates, interest rates, and other financial variables change frequently. Always verify calculations independently before making important financial decisions.

5. Premium Subscription Terms

5.1 Plans and Pricing

• Free Tier: Access to all calculators with limited saved scenarios (3 maximum)
• Premium Monthly: $5/month, billed monthly
• Premium Annual: $36/year ($3/month equivalent), billed annually

5.2 Billing and Payment

Premium subscriptions are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier.

5.4 No Refunds

All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our Service, we do not offer refunds for subscription payments. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate CalcGrid before purchasing a premium subscription.

5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will apply to your next billing cycle.

6. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with the proper working of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data in an automated manner beyond normal use
• Resell or redistribute premium features without authorization

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of CalcGrid are owned by CalcGrid and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALCGRID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO CALCGRID IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Saved scenarios will be retained for 30 days after account termination before permanent deletion.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
